Usage Methods & Safety Precautions

Usage Dosage

The specific dosage of ECH-98 Biocidal Agent should be adjusted based on the actual conditions of the water system, including microbial content, water quality parameters (such as pH, hardness), system volume, and operating conditions.

  • For industrial circulating cooling water systems, the recommended initial dosage is 80-100mg/L; for systems with low microbial contamination, the maintenance dosage can be 30-50mg/L.

  • For civilian disinfection scenarios (e.g., swimming pools, domestic water), follow relevant industry standards or on-site water quality testing results to determine the appropriate dosage, ensuring effective disinfection without excessive residue.

  • Adding Method: Dilute the product with 5-10 times of water first, then add it to the target water system continuously or intermittently through a dosing device. Ensure uniform mixing to maximize the bactericidal and algaecidal effects.

  • Adding Frequency: For continuously operating systems, continuous dosing is recommended; for intermittent systems, dose once every 2-3 days. In high-temperature and high-humidity seasons (when microbial reproduction is more frequent), increase the dosing frequency appropriately. Regularly test the microbial content of the water and adjust the dosage and frequency accordingly.


Safety Precautions

  • Operators must wear protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, and masks during use to avoid direct contact with eyes and skin. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with a large amount of clean water for more than 15 minutes. If irritation symptoms persist, seek medical attention promptly.

  • Store the product in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and open flames. Do not store or mix it with strong oxidants, alkalis, or other incompatible chemicals to prevent chemical reactions.

  • Keep the product sealed when not in use to prevent volatilization of active ingredients and contamination by external impurities.

  • Ensure the product is out of the reach of children and pets to avoid accidental ingestion. If ingested accidentally, do not induce vomiting. Take the product label and seek medical attention immediately.

  • The product is packed in plastic drums (25 kg/drum). During transportation, avoid collision, extrusion, or exposure to extreme temperatures to prevent drum damage and leakage. Comply with relevant transportation regulations for chemical products during transit.
